When every minute counts, the efficiency of your John Deere harvester is your best guarantee of a successful harvest

Tractive force is a direct result of the quality and technology of your harvester tyres.
They can be more robust, with a stronger sidewall that can bear heavier loads. And if they can take care of your soil, you surely found the best tyre equipment.

Preparation is paramount if you want to work as efficiently as possible. Reducing the total harvesting time by one or two days could be enough to avoid the rain and secure a few extra hundredweights for better yields. You can't leave the results of months of work to rot on the ground, just to save some money by buying cheaper tyres for intense harvesting work.

To maximize crop harvesting yield, you should choose harvester tyres with IF CFO or VF CFO technology. You'll be able to reduce the tyre pressure even more, giving you a greater contact area with the ground. So, you will be able to reduce pressure distribution on a larger and shallower footprint, to reduce soil compaction, and you will transfer an higher traction for less tyre slip and more harvesting efficiency.

What do IF CFO and VF CFO mean?

It’s now possible to operate with tyres, as low as 1.8 bar, thanks to IF and VF, combined with CFO technology.

Firstly, IF and VF technology allow a reduced inflation pressure for the same load and so they can carry more load at the same pressure. For the IF technology, up to 20% more load than a standard tyre. For the VF, up to 40%!

Secondly, CFO technology allows an additional "bonus load" during cyclic operations. This means that you can temporarily "overload" the tyre, up to a certain limit, for a maximum travel speed, slope % and distance.

High loading in Cyclic Field Operations (CFO) means major gains in productivity.

VT-COMBINE tyres are designed to carry higher loads than the equivalent standard tyres. Cyclic field operations in particular permit cyclical (repeated) higher loads, when the cutting platform is raised, or when the grain tank is full for example.

The CFO cyclic bonus loads operating conditions are:

Bridgestone VT-COMBINE tyres use these two technologies: IF CFO and VF CFO and can carry up to 86% more load than a standard tyre. Impressive load capacity!

Low soil compaction

Compared with tyres which use conventional technology, Bridgestone VT-COMBINE tyres have a lug contact area which is up to 22% larger*.

* Based on Bridgestone’s internal testing conducted under following conditions: Tyre load: 13,175 kg - Field conditions: 15 Cyc (cyclic application) - Inflation pressure: 2.4 bar

  • Bridgestone VT-COMBINE tyres allow very high loads with low pressure tyres.
  • VT-COMBINE low pressure tyres have larger footprints, minimise soil disturbance and shorten soil structure recovery times.

VT-COMBINE tyres also have exclusive features such as:

  • The Patented S-line bead technology to carry high loads safely at maximum flexing and low inflated pressure.
  • The unique Involute lug geometry which increases traction. This lug design reduces shovel effect and improves traction. A tyre that perfectly engages with the soil pulls better, and provides a real benefit, especially in heavy conditions.

S-LINE bead profile enables great flexing at low pressure.

Bridgestone’s unique and robust S-LINE bead profile ensures durability under extreme conditions:

  • Great flexing at lower pressure to reduce soil compaction
  • High and constantly changing loads
  • The reinforced casing construction makes the VT-COMBINE a robust and durable tyre.
